Please familiarize yourself with the general terms and conditions of Table View Lodge. A booking with us is a legal contract you have entered into with Table View Lodge.
Confirmation of Booking
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is payable on arrival or prior.
We require a key & breakages deposit for your booking. (this varies by units taken, enquire within)
Check-In & Cancellations
Our check-in time is between 1pm and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Late arrivals by appointment only. For after hour or weekend check-ins we arrange a lock box for you to self check in and provide instructions for this. (Balances to be settled prior)
Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Accommodation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date.
Deposits are not refundable in the event of non arrival / no shows.
Please see the additional cancellations policy details on the chosen booking portal (Lekkeslaap, Booking.com etc.) that you may have used when booking with us.
Accommodation
- No persons other than those quoted for and booked are permitted to share the accommodation. In the event that it is possible to accommodate any extra person/s in the same room, an additional charge will become payable.
- Strictly - No smoking in all our units please. (Smoking areas are outside or by the pool area.)
- For security purposes only the booked guests may be on premises. (or by arrangement)
- Please consider others - Noise levels are to please be kept to a minimum to avoid disturbing other guests on the premises. (No loud music is to be played please.)
- Pets by arrangement. Small pets for small units only and number limited. The Cottage and House allow more pets as they have gardens / patio areas.
PET Terms & Conditions
We know how important your pet is to you, but we have some basic rules for small pets;
- Please specify the type/size and number of pets you wish to bring. (We limit this for noise)
- An additional refundable breakage deposit is required in advance for guests with pets.
- Your pet should stay within the boundaries of your enclosed space or on a leash outside.
- The animals mess must be picked up and then thrown away v thereafter in a sealed packet in the outside black drums provided.
- Please also make sure that you keep your pet away from all bedding and furniture and bring his own sleeping bed / blankets and feeding troughs.
- Please bring your own pet blankets. If you expect your animals to jump up then please bring your own covering for the furniture.
- Pets become lonely / bark when their owners are out especially in a foreign place. Please make sure you take your pets with you. (we don't do pet sitting)
- Please keep your pets quiet so as not to disturb other guests.
Your Booking
Your unit will have been supplied with a first nights complimentary condiments (tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, etc).
We also supply fresh towels and linen for the rooms (replaced weekly)
The maximum number of guests per unit must be adhered to. Any changes needs to be communicated in writing prior to or upon arrival. Management reserves the right of admission at all times.
Valid identification (drivers license or Identity book) required upon arrival and check-in.
Credit card payments require presentation of original card used and matching identification. (No copies of accepted)
A cash breakage deposit may be requested.
STRICTLY NO SMOKING INSIDE ROOMS. (Management reserves right of admission at all times). Request for an ashtray when outdoors.
Payment methods
Visa or Mastercard credit cards are acceptable. Cash payments or Internet Transfer.
Group Booking Conditions of approximately 10 or more: (in addition to our standard terms)
To encourage a tranquil stay for all guests and neighbours we ask the following.
- No outside music and please clean up at braai/bbq area after you have used the facility for other guests.
- Accepting this booking you agree to be present with your kids at the pool area at all times.
- Bath towels are not to be used at the pool area, please bring your own swimming towels.
- No swimming after sundown for safety.
- Additional guests are not allowed and may be charged an additional fee.
- Not a party location. (No parties 'taking over' the lodge allowed and penalties will be applied.)
- Your booking will require a refundable key & breakages deposit and presentation of identity (drivers/id) refunded within 1-3 days after check out and all keys returned. (value depends on units & guest numbers)
- It is important to list the number of adults and children on premises including ages of children.
By agreeing to take a group booking you also acknowledge and accept responsibility of your children nearby the pool area.
It is mandatory and required that a adult/guardian at all times accompanies children in and around the pool area which due to its type and nature does not have a safety net. Acceptance of this booking implies you are accompanying your children at all times by the pool. - All group booking fees & deposits are to be settled 1 week prior to arrival.
- Larger group numbers may attract an additional cleaning fee.
- Strict cancellation policy will apply as follows:
a. Less than 1 month before check-in No refund
b. More than 1 month before check-in 50% deposit refunded
Peak Season Terms (in addition to regular Ts & Cs)
- 50% deposit secures booking.
- 50% balance due 2 months prior to arrival.
- Key, Cleaning & Breakage deposit to be paid with balance payment.
- Cancellation more than 3 months prior to your arrival 100% of deposit refundable.
- Cancellation more than 2 months prior to your arrival (October) - 50% of your deposit refundable.
- Cancellation less than 2 months prior to your arrival (16 October) - 0% refundable. No deposit refunds will be entertained.
- Booking dates check in on public holidays over December are generally declined due to staff arrangements etc. (enquire within)
- Minimum stay periods apply. (12 nights or longer are prioritised over shorter requests)
- Longer stay attracts lower fees than shorter stay (for obvious reasons)
